On February 6th, Contship Terminal in Ravenna welcomed the m/v Luebeck for a first call at the port
The ship was built in 2001 and named after the small port town of Luebeck on the Baltic Sea, which was once apparently part of the Hanseatic League. The ship belongs to a fleet deployed by MSC and is currently one of the two ships sailing on the Adriakia service, that connects Ravenna with Turkey on a weekly basis, to guarantee efficient connections with this important market.
While the routine operations were taking place, TCR planner Denny Cortesi boarded the ship to hand the maiden crest to Capt. Shenhua Pan and his officers, as a memorial of this first berth at the terminal.
