La Spezia Container Terminal welcomed the maiden call of the m/v MSC Los Angeles, deployed by Mediterranean Shipping Company SA on the Falcon service.
On Sunday February 22nd 2015 La Spezia Container Terminal (LSCT) welcomed the maiden call of the m/v MSC Los Angeles - LOA 267 metres and 4,250 TEUs in nominal capacity - deployed by Mediterranean Shipping Company SA on the Falcon, a string connecting Australia, the Far East and the Indian subcontinent to the Mediterranean.
On March 3rd the same ship is again expected to call at La Spezia running along the California Express service, linking the Mediterranean to Central America and US/Canadian West Coast ports. Berthed along the Fornelli East, on board the m/v MSC Los Angeles operations concluded the same day, with LSCT terminal planner Roberto Sandri presenting Captain Dobrev Dencho Baychev the customized crest for celebrating the ship’s maiden call in La Spezia. M/v MSC Los Angeles was cleared for departure shortly after.
