Thursday December 15th, following the recent start of the Cosco IAS Adriatic service, connecting Israel and Egypt to the Adriatic on a weekly basis, Terminal Container Ravenna (TCR) welcomed the second ship deployed in the string – the m/v K-RIVER – and her first call at the Contship Italia Adriatic Gateway.
The m/v K-RIVER, built in 1997 and with a L.O.A. of 118 meters, was berthed alongside the quay at 5.10 AM, with loading and unloading operations commencing immediately after the ship’s arrival. Upon successful completion of all the scheduled commercial operations, m/v K-RIVER left TCR on time, continuing on her eastbound rotation.
During the execution of operations onboard the ship, following a consolidated tradition, Roberto Geminiani, TCR Planner, delivered a personalized crest to the ship Captain, Jorge Maraon, to celebrate the m/v K-RIVER’s maiden call in Ravenna.
