The M/v Mando has recently been welcomed in Ravenna at TCR, Broström Tankers AB’s Adriatic gateway, for the first time.
The M/v Mando was deployed for the first time in 1999; it is 154 m long, and was originally introduced to replace the MSC Amanda, on the MSC ADRIAKIA Service. The service connects Ravenna to Turkish ports of Izmir, Gemlik, Gebze, Istanbul and Tekirdag on a weekly basis.
Commercial operations in TCR began straight after the MSC Mando arrived in the port, following the standard procedures. The ship then set sail for the next port perfectly on schedule.
As is tradition for maiden calls, during the commercial operations TCR Planner Alessandro Filipponi boarded the m/v Mando to hand C.O. Roman Polyansky, of Ukranian origins, the crest. It will be a memory of the m/v Mando’s first moor in the port.
