The brand-new 15,000 Teu m/v Al Jasrah recently made her debut at La Spezia Container Terminal (LSCT) on Friday June 10th, berthing on schedule alongside Fornelli East.
Operated by Dubai based United Arab Shipping Co. S.A.G., the state of the art ULCC is one of four weekly services maintaining a reliable and direct link between LSCT and the Far East.
Similar to her sister ships that have already called La Spezia, the vessel is named after a settlement in the Middle East, in this case in Qatar, in the municipality of Ad Dawhah.
Pictured together with planner Andrea Gatti, is Captain Sherif M. A. Mostafa who, prior to an on time departure, was presented with the traditional crest to commemorate the maiden call.
