Dutch Ambassador, Joep Wijnands is currently in Calabria for a mission focused on logistics and food industry, organized in liaison with Unindustria
Before visiting the terminal, the delegation held a meeting at the Port Authority of Gioia Tauro. Attendants were many; Vice President of Calabria Region- Francesco Russo, Secretary of the Port Authority- Saverio Spatafora, Confindustria Reggio Calabria’s President-Giuseppe Nucera, President of Unindustria Agri-Food- Fortunato Amarelli, President of Confindustria “Young Entrepreners” – Samuele Furfaro, Cosenza Football’s Club President – Eugenio Guarascio, Unindustria Calabria Director- Rosaria Branda, and Deputy Terminal Director Alfredo Scalisi.
At the end of the meeting, the delegation visited Contship Terminal in Gioia Tauro, led by Mr. Scalisi; “I’m very pleased to have given hospitality to His Excellency, the Dutch Ambassador in our Terminal, and we are very proud we had the chance to showcase the potential of MCT and of all staff that take part in our daily operations” Scalisi explains, “a transparent encounter, aimed at the future of our Terminal”.
