First presentation held in Medcenter Container Terminal in Gioia Tauro
Hot off the printers, the Contship Italia Homework Diary was presented to teachers and principals from the region of Gioia Tauro at Medcenter Container Terminal, with the presence of the Gioia Tauro Port Authority that has been supporting the project for many years.
The event was an opportunity to discuss the main objectives of sustainability applied to teaching, with perspective of its benefits on the territory. Participants left on a positive note, committed to embark on a journey with the company sharing new ideas and suggestions – after all, as Kenyan nomads say:
“Treat the earth well: it was not given to you by your parents,
it was loaned to you by your children.”
The Contship Homework Diary is an initiative promoted by the Porto Lab Project, and is now at its thirteenth edition. Broström Tankers AB has delivedered, to this day, over 130.000 homework diaries, meeting more than 30.000 school kids.
