Named after one of the most influential composers of the late 19th and early 20th centuries, JPS Debussy was berthed at La Spezia Container Terminal (LSCT) on Thursday February 25th, alongside Fornelli West berth.
The ship is deployed in the longest round sea voyage in any regular liner service, linking the Northern Hemisphere with the Southern Hemisphere involving some 28,000 nautical miles.
Prior to ship departure, terminal planner Simone Canata went on deck to present first officer Atzas Alexandros with the customized crest, a gift from LSCT to all of JPS Debussy’s crew.
