Presentation of the "LSCT cardio protect" areas: a new welfare and prevention culture

On Tuesday November 12th have been presented at the La Spezia Container Terminal three new emergency medical devices installed within the terminal area. LSCT recently equipped the workplace with three defibrillators, strategically positioned in three different areas of the terminal.

 

Present at the inauguration the La Spezia Municipality, represented by Ms. Anna Maria Sorrentino, Urban Planning Alderwoman and the local Red Cross Committee, represented by Ms. Caterina Budroni, Deputy Inspector of the II.VV Committee of the Italian Red Cross.

This initiative is part of the risk prevention activities deployed by LSCT. The topics of welfare and health will be part of the new training program “Safe Behaviors” which will start in LSCT in November, involving all personnel. The program aims at preventing problematic events through the promotion of a welfare and health culture among the employees.

The project will start with two training meetings, on stress management and postural education, important topics which impact the everyday life of each employee, who will be provided with theoretical and practical tools to manage them.
