New intermodal service between Rail Hub Milano and Rotterdam Botlek terminal, serving short sea intermodal connections between the UK and the European continent

Hannibal Milan-Rotterdam intermodal service grows, with three additional weekly circulations between Rail Hub Milano and Rotterdam Botlek C.ro Terminal, connecting hub for Short Sea trade to and from the United Kingdom

Starting January 12, 2021, Hannibal will activate three additional round trips between Melzo and Rotterdam, connecting Rail Hub Milano with the Rotterdam Botlek C.ro terminal.

This new train service joins the Milan-Rotterdam RSC connection offered by Hannibal, which currently has 7 round trips per week between Melzo's Rail Hub Milano and Rotterdam's Rail Service Center terminal.

Train departures from both Rail Hub Milano and Rotterdam Botlek C.ro terminals will be on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. The service will accept P400 semi-trailers.

The new connection with Rotterdam Botlek will offer customers the opportunity to reach a terminal offering daily direct boarding for short sea shipping to and from the UK and multiple weekly departures to and from Ireland and Portugal, without the need for transfers via truck between railway terminal and maritime terminal of embarkation / disembarkation.

Visit the service page for more information on hours, service details and operational contacts.
