As first witnessed with the maiden call of m/v AS Mars on October 12th, CMA-CGM is now in the middle of implementing an upgrade program for its fleet deployed on the Fas – Adriatic Feeder 1 service. On Thursday October 22nd, TCR welcomed the second maiden call on the string with the arrival in Ravenna of m/v Turnberry Kontor.
M/v Turnberry Kontor is a recently constructed container carrier: built in 2008 by Chinese shipyards Qingshang, the ship has a L.O.A. of 148 meters and a nominal capacity of 1,118 TEUs.
The ship arrived at TCR on schedule – berthed immediately upon arrival – with operations onboard being carried out with no delays. At 7 PM the same day, M/v Turnberry Kontor was cleared for departure, continuing her rotation.
Following tradition, Michele Pagano - head of vessel operations at TCR – boarded the ship to present Captain Andrey Bolshakov and his crew with a personalized crest, celebrating M/v Turnberry Kontor’s maiden call in Ravenna.
