La MSC Rapallo fa scalo a LSCT

Maiden call at LSCT for MSC Rapallo

On Thursday June 11th 2015 La Spezia Container Terminal (LSCT) welcomed its latest maiden and on time call by super Post-Panamax class m/v MSC Rapallo, a ship 365.5 metres in length and with a nominal capacity of 13,050 TEUs. Built in 2011 by Korean shipyards Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering Ltd - she is deployed by Mediterranean Shipping Company SA in the Dragon – also known as AM1 – a service linking Far East Asia to the Middle East and the Mediterranean. Likewise fellow ULCC MSC La Spezia, m/v MSC Rapallo was named after one of the most stunning locations along the Ligurian coast. Following tradition, the ship’s captain Piotr Brunon Sperkowski was presented with a personalized crest by LSCT customer service director Roberto Scotto, a memento of m/v MSC Rapallo’s maiden call at La Spezia.
