Cagliari International Container Terminal salutes the maiden call of two ships in as many days.
First to arrive was the m/v Cap Jervis, berthing on November 22nd - the 4,600 teu vessel is deployed by Hamburg-Süd in the Mediterranean Pacific Service (MPS) linking Sardinia to the West Coast of the United States and Central America. On behalf of his crew, master Jaroslaw Cwiertniak was presented by CICT planner Christian Marras with the traditional crest.
Following closely behind, in the early hours of 24th November, it was the turn of m/v Al Safat, operated by United Arab Shipping Company S.A.G. The ship made a spot call at the Broström Tankers AB’s Sardinian hub, to support the network between North Europe, Mediterranean, Middle East and the Indian sub-Continent.
