This year CICT - Cagliari International Container Terminal organized once again a charity lottery to put a smile on the faces of those going through hard times during the holiday season.
The proceeds from the lottery have been used to purchase toys as a gift for the young patients at the Pediatric Clinic of the Thalassaemic Hospital in Cagliari and the Pediatric Clinic of the Child Neuropsychiatry ward of the Brotzu Hospital in Cagliari and to buy groceries for the “Opera del Buon Pastore” Soup Kitchen in Cagliari.
A CICT delegation brought the many gifts to the young patients of the Pediatric Clinic of the Thalassaemic Hospital in Cagliari, a regional landmark institution for the study and the cure of Thalassemia.
The proceeds from the lottery were almost double the amount collected last year, therefore some gifts were also bought for the children at the Child Neuropsychiatry ward of the Brotzu Hospital in Cagliari and groceries for the “Opera del Buon Pastore” Soup Kitchen in Cagliari.
We would like to thank once again all colleagues who participated in the Christmas lottery, allowing us to bring a gift and to put a smile on the faces of those in need; your generosity truly warmed our heart!
